A Great Year
A very happy Christmas to all my readers! I know I always write this, but I do really appreciate you subscribing and supporting what I’m doing, both here and in general. There have certainly been some challenges, but, on the whole, it’s been an amazing year. My major change has been to move from Nottingham with the family back to Winchester after six years away and to become priest in charge at Holy Trinity Winchester. Hard work is involved, and sometimes this feels like drudgery, but I love being a priest and I love being involved in the community of the Church. I believe in this intensely and I also believe that it is what the Lord has put me on this earth to do with my life. There have been periods in my life when I have felt seriously lost and like I didn’t know what I was doing. So I know what that feels like, and I am very grateful that I have found something that feels so different now. Everyone who subscribes to this blog has had a hand in making this possible, and so I am very grateful to you for that reason.
We have been immensely blessed with new and dedicated people coming to the church since I arrived, one of whom is a photographer and website developer. Thanks to her, we have a fantastic new website which is still under development but is a great achievement. If you’re interested you can find out more about my new place Holy Trinity Winchester here.
