Music - “Spring” by Antonio Vivaldi
I haven’t done a musical prescription for a while, so this is an easy one. And before anyone starts on how cliched and predictable it is, I don’t care. I’ve not got any time for that kind of cynicism. Listen to the piece the whole way through and don’t tune out at the familiarity of the first few bars. I love the middle section with the high-pitched strings pounding away at descending, rhythmic ostinati evoking lighting, thunder and storm. It’s breathtaking.
