Thanks to those who you who commented on my last post. They were the kinds of comments that were so thoughtful and important that I wanted to find a decent amount of time to answer them because I didn’t want to be glib. But I never got the time and I apologise. I was very grateful for all of them.
This week has been a bit busier for me. For the last three months, my training incumbent (TI), who is the vicar at my church, has been away on a sabbatical and I have been (effectively) in charge of the day-to-day operations of the church. It’s been a good time, but my TI is back this week and so I’ve had to spend a bit of time catching him up on things and dealing with some other interesting parish business, all of which has meant that I haven’t had loads of time for writing.
