We had an outbreak of sickness at home this week, which torpedoed the time I was hoping to use to write a substantive entry. But I’ll do my best here. I’ll start talking about Hazony’s Conservatism towards the end but probably won’t get through all I want to say. Good Things this Week
One of my greatest personal satisfactions is when I preach sermons which I believe to have helped people in their spiritual lives. This is a real privilege and I particularly enjoyed preaching the same sermon at two churches, one after the after, the Sunday last. Sermons come most easily to me when I feel that the Lord has been speaking to me personally about a relevant issue and this really was the case this week.
