Hello dear readers and friends. I should have put this post out earlier. I hate it when people talk about being “busy” and so on and - probably because I am quite a judgmental person - have very little sympathy for such a concept. We choose what to fill our lives with and lots of people decide to fill their lives with quite a lot of activity and responsibility. I do and most other people I know do. This applies not just to people “working” or with young families but to those in other stages of life as well. A man at my church, for example, is retired and he is one of the most active and busiest people I know. To me, when someone says he is busy, it sounds like he is saying that he is very important and hasn’t time to pay attention to anyone else. And I don’t like that and I would never want to imply it personally.
