Discussing Woke Christianity with Jamie Bambrick
Hi folks. Just to flag up another podcast I was on recently.
Jamie is an evangelical pastor in Ireland whose technical skills far surpass mine. He’s only just started his channel but I think it will become very big in time. We covered quite a lot of themes that will be familiar to listeners of Irreverend but Jamie gave it a lot of time and space to go into some of the history and perhaps a slightly deeper analysis than we often get time for on our podcast.

Woke Christianity is an oxymoron.
The philosophical underpinnings of Woke is post-modern neo-Marxism. By this definition, it is anti-Logos.
Christianity, on the other hand, is a Logos-Centric faith. By adopting Woke into the Church, it creates a Logos/Anti-Logos paradox.
Christians who adopt Woke as part of their philosophical worldview, are taking onboard an anti-Christian belief system. Those churches who become Woke, will collapse under the weight of this paradox.
Just a note - He is not in Ireland (this is usually shorthand for Republic of Ireland) but in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK.
